Strategic and hands-on commercial/operational expertise gained in leading FMCG manufacturers ranging from £25M to £200M turnover with excellent operational and cultural understanding of customers in Grocery, Hospitality and Wholesale.
  • Successfully transformed a loss-making £40M business with declining sales and low morale into an energised, positive and results focused culture improving core sales, efficiency, productivity and margins.
  • Successful scaled a bakery and food to go business, growing it from £25M turnover in 2001 to a highly profitable and award winning £128M market leader within 7 years.
  • Personally involved in negotiating a 5% price increase with their No.1 customer (Morrisons) and was instrumental in extending an 18-month contract with their No.1 wholesaler (Booker), securing £4.7M of existing business and price increase.
  • Increased annual sales from £34M to £41M in 3 years, contributing to record profits
  • Reduced UK operating costs by £1M in 2019 by outsourcing loss-making distribution, centralising logistics while improving service levels.

  • Has held the position of Managing Director and Group Supply Chain and Purchasing Director for a leading manufacturer with a turnover of £50m into the Foodservice market overseeing three production sites
  • Reported directly to the Managing Director overseeing a £250m red meat site for Tesco supply
  • Achieved four successive years of Green Audits including PIU, Red Tractor, MHS, BRC, Integra, RPA and Halal
  • Selection and implementation of on ERP system across 3 UK sites on time and budget
  • Regained BRC grade A and maintained for seven consecutive years

An international Sales Director overseeing sales operations in EU, East EU, Russia, ME, Asia and in particular Japan. Also a strong knowledge of the US and Canadian markets where he has worked. Seeking an entrapraneurial business who are looking to grow or enter European markets.
  • Wide market knowledge with a specific focus on: EU, East EU, Russia, ME, Asia and in particular Japan. He also has a strong knowledge of the US and Canadian markets where he has worked
  • Responsible for all EU markets. Coordinating 4 subsidiaries: Paris, London, Dusseldorf, and Barcelona. In total 26 strong sales team.
  • Growth of Japanese market up to 10 Mil € Turnover
  • Responsible for a dedicated team, to develop the Food Service business in Germany, France, and UK.
  • Responsible for all sales activities: negotiation, market analysis, development and implementation of sales strategy under his direct control.
  • Development of international partnership with Tetra Pack group for the development of green packaging.

Would be a great addition to manufacturers of Canning, Spreads, Juices, Sweets, Chutney, Jams. However, he would be more than comfortable in both low care and high care facilities in the wider industry
  • 20 years’ experience as an executive Manager/Director
  • Leadership of large management teams and up to 1,000 staff
  • Senior/Executive Management of Large Food Companies
  • General Manager, Managing Director, Ops Director & CEO for large food companies
  • In 2015 he was a key player in merging his company with a competitor, to become the largest spreads and preserve manufacturing company in Zimbabwe.
  • As the Chief Executive Officer, he was instrumental in the building, procurement, installation, commissioning, and recruitment of a new, state of the art Peanut Butter factory.
  • Location: Currently in the North West, however happy to relocate anywhere in the UK
  • Salary:  £80,000 +

  • Demonstrated the benefits to linking good HR practices and procedures into the wider business team in order to drive efficiency and provide performance improvements in all areas
  • Excellent change manager with 10 restructure / redundancy programmes, 2 site closures and one TUPE transfer completed without any tribunal outcomes
